Dear Ladies,

I do not have the time to put the complete newsletter on the Blog anymore, but will continue to publish contributions about interest groups, socials, books we read in the book club etc.

In case anyone wants to see more published on our webpage you are welcome to do so and I will be more than happy to show you how this is being done using the blogging software.

October Social 2007

On Monday, October 16th, we met for our monthly Social at the Mount Pearl Dominion for a "Lunch and Learn" event about Grain Power.



The menu included:

Marinated shrimp and vegetable skewers
Black bean millet salad
Quinoa fiesta salad
Cherry crumb cake with Kamut







Most of us did not seem to care too much for the cherry crumb cake but the salads were wonderful, and I had the impression we all enjoyed learning about incorporating healthy whole grains into our daily diet.
