November Social with Decorator Eric White

Despite an exam in the afternoon and several projects cooking, Jamie held her cool and opened her wonderful home to the Newcomers' Club members for the November Social with decorator Eric White from Beyond Design.
The meeting was very well attended.
These ladies are busy browsing the book table and signing up for the event.
The rapt audience listens and watches as Eric demonstrated how to make beautiful stocking stuffers or hostess gifts as well as demonstrating the the art of gift wrapping.
He brought a little Christmas tree along to show how one can work with very few materials and colours to establish a theme and then use that as a pattern to be repeated all over the tree. His assistant Ambrose then finished the tree decoration, while Eric shared a few little recipes with the group, like the Paprika/Cream-cheese apple with a cinammon bark twig and a bay leaf.

Eric even recited a couple of poems by a good friend of his and some of his own, which he hopes, will make it into a book next year.
At the end he was presented with a token of appreciation and vowed to make certain the Newcomers would be invited to his Christmas event/fundraiser at the Fairmont next year.
